Spanish term or phrase:Some greeting formulae
Need feedback on standard English greeting formulae for the following:
- Que el nuevo año que comienza pronto esté lleno de éxitos para todos ustedes/nos traiga alegria y felicidad a todos/llegue lleno de gracias y bendiciones para ustedes
Explanation: ...be one of success for everyone / that it brings joy and happiness / that it comes with plenty of gifts* and blessings for everyone". "We count on your valuable collaboration ("contribution" if talking about donations)". *You may like "Grace" better if you want a more religious significance. That's my version. I can hear the ding-dong bells already...happy upcoming new year!! :))
collins some celestial inspiration

"Wishing you success and happiness in the New Year" "We look forward to working with you.
Explanation: This is what I would say in English. These Spanish formulas, which sound fine in Spanish, tend to sound rather overblown in English if translated too literally, since English has a much more straightforward style.
