mouse imaging OR mouse and small animal research
Explanation:
I would choose:
mouse and small animal research (a commonly used expression in the field)

FIELD: ultrasound equipment / "Mouse Imaging"

AS IN (Internet examples):

- Small Animal Ultrasound

- "Ultrasound for Mouse and Small Animal Research (cardiovascular, heart, lung research)."

- Indus Instruments (USA) - Ultrasound
for Mouse and Small Animal Research (cardiovascular, heart, lung research). ...

That was the beginning of Agilent's involvement with mouse imaging. Since then, Dr. Lang and Dr. Leiden, with colleagues Fentzke, Korcarz, Shroff, Lin, and Sandelski, have published an article that gets beyond merely how to scan mice and delves into how to measure function. A more recent article discusses their work with transgenic mice ...

Small rodent

Explanation:
I know you mean humans, but i can't see any connection between a human being and a "pequeño roedor" (even though I know a couple of homans that would fit this description)
It is not unusual to use ultasound equipment to get rid of small rodents.
does it sound reasonable?

small rodent ulcer? Surgical instrument called a "rongeur"?

Explanation:
Could it be a small "rodent ulcer" (evidently a synonym for "Basal cell carcinoma of skin aka/or Basal cell epithelioma aka/or Rodent ulcer")?

See: http://www.diseasesdatabase.com/sieve/item1.asp?glngUserChoi...

On the other hand, I can't find "roedor" paired with "epitelioma basocelular")...

And, as an even wilder stab, Tërmium gives the French for "rodent," "rongeur," as part of a term for a neurosurgical instrument, the "Kerrison rongeur."

See the Google search results for rongeurs at:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q="Kerrison ...

And, actually, there are a number of these "rongeurs":

Neurosurgery instruments lempert rongeur
... Lempert ronguer. Drill. Perforator. Burr shaping. Craniotome. Kerrison rongeur. Adson rongeur. Leksell rongeur. Return to uscneurosurgery.com Homepage.

And here is a "micro Kerrison":
