Spanish term or phrase: lo refiere desde 1997
Sorry, guys, but this is HORRID spanish. Here it goes: " La paciente, del sexo femenino, de XX de edad, originaria de XX, dedicada el hogar, acompañada por su marido e hija con el siguiente padecimiento actual: LO REFIERE desde 1997, al acudir a un hospital de su localidad...

As I understand it, Lo REFIERE means here that the patient HAS BEEN SUFFERING from some disease at least since 1997, and this is what she informs her doctor.

Anyway, how or WHAT should I translate, do you think?

I hope next time I will get a better text! :)
Thanks in advance.
