Estoy azorada por la redacción. Tengo mucha experiencia en textos médicos , pero el problema que se presenta aquí es entender el original en español ( mi propio idioma!!), corregirlo para, luego, poder traducir.
Una de las tantas cosas que me asombran de este texto es la facilidad con la que el autor pasa de un tema a otro, casi sin darse cuenta.

En estas líneas que les paso, el autor se refiere al tratamiento que está utilizando con una determinada paciente. Pero, de pronto, Zás, se tira a hablar de presupuesto, y de la solicitud de una receta por parte de la paciente. Aunque no lo crean, las omisiones, los garrafales errores gramaticales, la falta de puntos y de comas, SON ORIGINALES.Lo que sigue es COPIA FIEL.

" Tuvimos una larga conversación respecto a opciones terapéuticas y después de presentar los resultados de la tela del torax que muestra cierta progresión de su enfermedad pulmonar y de la tomografía abdominal que aparentemente no tiene enfermedad hepática extensa como se sospechaba y tal vez solamente una lesión en cúpula hepática que probablemente no tenga mucha repercusión en su estado actual. En vista de esto, ha optado por aceptar un catéter central y quedarse tres días mas de tratamiento y adiestramiento. ASí SOLICITó QUE SE LE PRESUPUESTE también pidió una receta para casa de terapia metabólica normas.Le inicio en vista de su dificultad respiratoria y tos seca muy sintomática con inhalaciones de XXX, le doy ZZZ y debido al dolor en la región toráxica le inicio con dolac."

Mi pregunta: ¿qué diablos es lo que la paciente solicita que se le presupuesto? Los tres dias que acepta quedarse internada? ¿qué cosa? El médico escribr: ASI solicitó que se le presupueste: ASI cómo, señor facultativo?

Escucho aportes, aunque no sean definitivos.:)

Like you said yesterday...that IS horrid (I could think of worse words but ProZ regulations prohibit me from using them).

Anyway Bertha, this is the only thing that occurs to me.

If it's any consolation my friend, I'm also "struggling" with an awful translation which I HAVE TO finish today.

Anyway Bertha, this is the only thing that occurs to me.
