Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology
Spanish term or phrase: DLMi reumática
Hi all,

This is from a patient report on a woman with unstable angina. It comes under the 'Cardiovascular History' section:

- DLMi reumática, con IM ligera/EM ligera-moderada (AVM 1.5 cm2). IT ligera-moderada/HTP ligera-moderads, Disfunción VD moderada, en última eco junio 2012.

I assume it is short for: 'DLMitral' as this comes up later on 'Diagnosis on discharge':

-DLMitral con estenosis moderada. HTP importance. VD disfunción importante. IT moderada.'

Any idea what the 'DL' means? I sense perhaps it's really obvious and I am over-thinking it?! Thanks!

Perfect! Thanks so much José - it actually comes up later on in the text. Normally I leave all my queries for a project until the very end but for some reason this time I have opted to ask as I am going along. This has proven not to work as the answers to my queries seem to come up somewhere else in the text - the same thing happened with a question Joseph kindly answered! I shall stick to my original strategy I think! Thanks again!
