Conocer la epidemiología local y el ***perfil evolutivo*** de los pacientes neurocríticos con GCS ≤ 8 interesa al momento de plantear estrategias globales de terapéutica, políticas de salud y programas de procuración de órganos. La utilización de éste modelo, adaptándolo a cada situación, permite predecir el potencial de donación de un país, región u hospital.
