Medical - Medical: Health Care / liver/abdominal surgery
Spanish term or phrase: lentillas
"lentillas antes de entrar a quirófano"

This term just appears once. The patient is being taken to the operating room (yet again). This phrase appears in a section titled "Función Respiratoria". The patient is having a second liver transplant, has deteriorating kidney function, pleural effusion ... many things wrong (dies at the end of the report).

What are "lentillas" here?

Thanks again for all the help.

Explanation:
Most probably they mention the patient had to remove them before going to the OR, I guess.

Thanks for your help. I thought "lentillas" was being given some highly esoteric, specialized medical meaning here!
