self-discharge
Explanation:
Self-discharge against medical advice
also known as irregular discharge

Medical treatment often requires hospital admission to provide the appropriate medical care. Any patient with capacity is entitled to refuse treatment and this right of refusal extends to declining hospital admission. If a patient already in hospital wishes to leave against the advice of his doctor, the patient may self-discharge against medical advice.
