El mayor determinante de la patogenicidad de Brucella spp. es el lipopolisacárido de la cubierta (S-LPS), responsable de la respuesta inmune detectada por la mayoría de las pruebas serológicas.

I can't find a translation that resembles "de la cubierta" - currently have it as the S-form lipopolysaccharide (S-LPS). Thoughts?
