Entre dos colegas tenemos la duda sobre si existe algún otro término en inglés para "Abandono de la mina" (la ultima etapa de unproyecto minero) distinto a Mine Abandoment o Mine Disposal. Nos parece haber escuchado otro término, pero no podemos recordarlo. Si alguien nos puede ayudar, lo agradecemos eternamente.

agree  Richard Boulter: I like this best, or just 'mine closure'. I would use 'shutdown' as 'shut down the operaions and close the mine'. 'Shutdown' as a single word is used more-idiomatically than 'close closure' in my perception. Whatever fits your context; language is fun

Just a total guess, but the fourth (and usually the last stage in the mining process) is mine "exploitation"
If Mine Abandoment o Mine Disposal are not what you are looking for, then this might be a possibility for you......
