Recovery Centers for the Physically Handicapped
Explanation:

I can't use "recovery"; an English speaker would understand it to refer to the physical recovery of the clients from their condition, rather than society's recovery of them as productive members. But you have cleared up for me what "recuperación" means. Thank you.

recovery

Explanation:
recuperacion/recuperation are "false-friends" (i.e. not true cognates) in Spanish/French/English. To "recuperate" in English generally has something to do with getting over an illness or a loss, whereas "recovery" (or "retrieval") is more likely to be used for getting something back that has been lost or given away or paid.
