retirement account balance Explanation: Routledge uses finiquito in the context of retirement accounts. I am not completely sure, but Routledge gives the following meanings in Spanish for termination: Termination: rescisión (of a contract) Termination of appointment: final de una cita Termination benefits: indemnización por despido. Termination clause: cláusula de rescisión. Termination of employment: final del empleo TERMINATION PAYMENT (retirement): FINIQUITO. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-01-02 12:09:56 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Maybe it could also mean: balance of closed (or inactive) accounts. finiquitar = to pay off (Routledge) |
