Other / Postal address abbreviation
Spanish term or phrase: % ("e/" ?)
This symbol, like a percentage sign but with dots in place of the o's, appears in a handwritten Cuban postal address, with the following format:

(No suelo enviar cartas a paises hispanohablantes). Gracias.

I think this sign is a form of "e/" for esquina, followed by the other street name, which would appear to make the most sense, but I'd be grateful for confirmation, or to know if it's something else. (I don't often send letters to Spanish-speaking countries). Thank you.

Explanation:
I supose means "entre". In spanish, when some writes ·/· means a number (dividido) "entre", so in this case they are using the symbol to express "entre" (between) street and street...
