Spanish to English translations [Non-PRO]
Spanish term or phrase: uma
una uma, used in the sorteo manual...appears to be a small bag/pouch..is there a specific name for this?
jm
English translation:Urna
Explanation:
Uma, as far as I know, an accoding to dict. Moliner y de la RAE does not exist. I am pretty sure it is a mispelling and intended to say URNA. Note the first definition given by RAE:

Urna.
(Del lat. urna).

1. f. Arca que sirve para depositar las cédulas, números o papeletas en
los sorteos y en las votaciones secretas.
2. f. Caja de cristales planos a propósito para tener dentro visibles y
resguardados del polvo efigies u otros objetos preciosos.
3. f. Caja de metal, piedra u otra materia, que sirve para varios usos,
como guardar dinero, los restos o las cenizas de los cadáveres
humanos, etc.
4. f. Medida antigua para líquidos.
5. f. Ven. ataúd (caja para enterrar un cadáver).

Maybe it is not a misspelling, but that you read \'r+n\' like an \'m\'
