Anyone any idea what these intials stand for. Or if I can simply leave them AS IS.

a fairly comprehensive web search in the areas of boat design and naval architecture turned up nothing to speak of.

However, "PRVF" (in French,"plastique renforcé de fibre de verre") is fiberglass-reinforced plastic.
