"pass" is aprobar. To accredit may mean validate only Explanation: some units or complete only a part of the requirements (I'm thinking of the famous "MAwT" - Masters without Thesis). But I can only speak for Spain. |

Partial credits obtained Explanation: A system of education based on obtaining and accumulating credits. X credits would imply completion of a course. X-1 credits would probably remain valid, for a certain length of time, but would imply that the course was incomplete. It may not be a question of not having passed, rather one of not having had time for example. I'm not sure you can say partial with a singular noun, but PARTIAL CREDITS OBTAINED for a 'course' that's probably composed of different elements sounds about right. |

Partially acreditted. Explanation: Sometimes a student may take an elective course in some other field and pass it but no graduate in that field, or he may take college courses, and never graduate from college at all. Or even after graduating and working as a professional, just by going to professional societies' lectures he'll get college credits toward a higher degree. These would be examples of partial acreditations. Regards. Luis Luis |
