Se presume que el operador se desplazaba a exceso de velocidad, lo que ocasionó el percance, aunque también la posibilidad de que al vehículo se le zafó la flecha, falla que probablemente sorprendió al conductor quien no tuvo tiempo de aferrarse al volante, saliendo proyectado de la cabina.
