PHASE OPOSITION Explanation: You are in presence of a typo here. The original is meant to be "oposición de fase" , meaning the position of two sinewaves of the same frequency but one having a minimum when the other has a maximum. All in all the phrase reads "because when two sound waves are in PHASE OPOSITION, the resulting wave will have an amplitude equal to the difference berween the amplitudes of both waves. When such amplitudes are equal, then the difference between them will yield a ZERO AMPLITUDE RESULTANT" |
