This is a quote from a television actor without any other context. The word "fut." is abbreviated in the original.

"fut" in Spanish is an abbreviation, the full word is "fútbol". "mundial" is the World Cup.
Does it make sense now?

Yes it makes perfect sense now (duh!). It's just that the rest of the articles have absolutely nothing to do with soccer and this was an isolated quote from a page photocopied from an adversiting magazine.
Thanks a lot.
