Spanish to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Other
Spanish term or phrase:equipamiento en internet
This is one of a list of headings of subjects dealt with in a general population study on the Internet. Hard to give more context as it is just a list of headings. The complete list reads as follows:
Internet en España
-Equipamiento en Internet
-Perfil de los usuarios y no usuarios de la red
-Barreras de uso
Thanks for the advice, FVS! With the context I was able to get later in the text I realize it definitely has to be something along the lines of "Connecting to the Internet" - which seems to keep the heading itself still broad enough. Still playing around with it though. Thanks again.
Golden rule of translation. Don't speculate or ponder uncertainties until you have finished the document and then go back to them. Doubts are so very often cleared up as you go through the document. Save your questions until you reach the end of the document.
Thanks Jenni, that is a very good thought ... I will try to come up with something a bit more general - I am waiting to see if there is further explanation later in the text that will clear it up a bit more for me!
Thanks all. I´m wondering if it could refer to the means of connecting to the Internet instead? (like ADSL, cable modem, etc). What do you all think? And if so, how would you render that as a heading in English without going too far from the original Spanish?

Explanation: i.e. computers, mobile phones, etc. I'm pretty sure this is what it means.
