Yo pienso que mason es la mejor definición ya que "bricklayer" indica que esta persona trabaja solo con ladrillo. Un mason trabaja con toda clase de material ya sea ladrillo, cemento, piedra, etc.

bricklayer-A person skilled in building with bricks.

mason- A person who works with stone, cement, concrete or brick. Stonecutter.
