Spanish to English translations [Non-PRO]
Spanish term or phrase: sujetos preferentes y obligados
Eso provoca que la mayoria desconozca los derechos y deberes de que son sujetos preferentes y obligados.

Help with the whole sentence would be great

Explanation:
I would turn the whole sentence around and take out "sujetos":
"This has resulted in the majority being unaware of their preferential rights and compulsory duties". I believe there is a grammatical error in the sentence: "son" should be "es" as the subject of the sentence is "la mayoría". "Preferentes" refers to "derechos" and "obligados" refers to "deberes".

This provokes a situation in which the majority are not aware

Explanation:
of the rights from which they may benefit and the duties they are obliged to perform (or some such thing).

The parallelism in the original takes place on the level of the word "sujetos", which is impossible in English, so I have moved it to the double-direct object "derechos y deberes" and created another parallelism.

it is explained down there

Explanation:
This results on most people not being aware of the rights they are primarily entitled (to)and the obligations they are compulsory subject to.

(just a suggestion. Good luck!)
