[leaves and bark of the] Soapbark Tree

I confess I'm far from sure but this is the closest I could find on Internet. The leaves and bark from this tree are used for medicinal purposes.

Geum quellyon - Llallante - Chilean Avens

Well, I'm not sure but this is a possibility. There is a plant called Chilean Avens whose scientific name is Geum quellyon and Spanish (or Mapuche) name is Llallante. I don't know (and haven't been able to find out) whether it's used as a medicinal herb.

Hope this helps anyway,

Geum quellyon--Chilean Avens

Quechu: cinco.
Quechuquina: martin pescador.
Quelhue, quelihue: tintura roja.
Quellen: frutilla.
Quellon, quillon: ayuda, auxilio.
Quemquemtreu: pendiente fuerte.

Geum quellyon
Hierba del clavo

Double or semi-double vermillion flowers of "Blazing Sunset" are half again as large as most hybrids of Geum quellyon (synonymous with G. chiloense). The size & persistence of the blooms makes "Blazing Sunset" a superior choice for any garden from which cuttings will be taken for bouquets.
