Spanish term or phrase: UNAM (Mexican Abbreviation)
Hi there,

can any of you with experience of México please tell me what these initials stand for. They came in a sentence which referred to the "PRI and the UNAM" I know ther former is the "Partido Revolucionario Institucionalizado" o algo por el estilo:-)... pero UNAM???

But I appreciate Steve's clearing up of my mistake as regards to the PRI.

Incidentally how did your elections go guys? I hope all your favourite candidates won. I am afraid I am a little on the side of the graffiti artist here in Barcelona who daubed "Don't vote, it only encourages them!" on a local wall :-)
