Explanation: discutir-can be to discuss or to argue, and the context here doesn't really show. if people are arguing over what the real cause is, then go with that word. otherwise, discuss will work. alternatively, if it fits the context, you could use "we are discussing..." this is a common equivalent in English to the grammatical form used in Spanish. mal: can be illness or disease, but i don't think that fits in this context, though obesity is commonly considered a disease. something more general would work such as "problem," "malady," etc. OSD, 1994 |
