Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Spanish term or phrase: lo estafa gacho
This is coming from Mexico, it's a personal letter that is also poorly written, making it harder for me. Any help is appreciated.

Hay que decir algo al Pillo para que deje a esa panzona porque *lo estafa gacho*

Could also be *lo estafó gacho*, hard to tell because it's hand-written. The sentence that follows tells how he made some money and then she spent a lot of it so he had to get a loan.

English translation:she ripped him off bad
Explanation:
Since it is a very informal letter this is my suggestion, I'm using the word bad in the sense that it was aweful the way la "panzona" ripped off poor Pillo.

Saludos, ;o)

All were along the same lines, but since it is such an informal and at times vulgar letter, this fits best with the tone. Thank you!

she swindled him shamelessly

Explanation:
"We have to talk with Pillo to convince him to leave that fat woman, because she swindled him shamelessly."

Aunque la palabra "gacho" se usa para describir algo "feo", en este contexto podría refererise también a una forma "descarada de estafa".

She screwed him over

Explanation:
excuse the roughness of the term but it basically means she did the person wrong or cheated him in the worst way possible
