AVE

Explanation:
The AVE is a fast train. The acronym stands for Alta Velocidad Española.

I am not sure if this fits your context. I hope it helps.

Alta Velocidad Española

Explanation:
This is what AVE usually refers to, the high speed train between Madrid and Seville, although they're building another one between Madrid and Barcelona. If I'm right, I'd leave it as it is and put a brief explanation in brackets, if it's not obvious from the rest of the text.

I doubt it fits the context, but cannot be sure.

disagree  lcmolinari: Don't agree with the 'vegetables' part because it would be 'trabajador de legumbre en el AVE'. Never heard of that job!
