In the flexography process, images to be reproduced are captured on photosensitised AZ31 Magnesium alloy plates. The coating is then hardened using intense lighting. When the coating is etched with acid, less attack occurs in the darker areas and an image is produced on the metal surface. This is then used to produce a printed image.
