Spanish term or phrase: la Corte
Hi, I'm wondering if 'la Corte' possibly refers to a city in South America in the following phrase: 'publiqué nuevos versos en revistas poéticas de la Corte y otras ciudades de la punta Sur del continente americano'. Does anyone know if this is a familiar name for a particular city in South America? Muchas gracias!

Thanks, this is what I went for in the end! It did seem to fit best in the context as although the author mentioned south American cities, he was living in Madrid at the time.
