I don't understand what is being said here, if any can explain it that would be great help. This is a scientific paper on self-harm from a social sciences point of view.

This is my rough draft up to the point of incomprehension:
"It should also be said that even if these consideration helped me to break down and provide context to self-injury in phenomenological and symbolic-interpretative terms, in terms of explanatory theorising their contributions about the different corporal dimensions aided me in interpreting self-injuring behaviour as an expression of a suffering ascribed to the environment of the individual but which appear as a response to sensations of disembodied self/selfless bodies in normative and regulatory contexts ...."

I understand that although self-harming seems to be an individual problem it is actually rooted in social behaviour patterns imposed by alienated and alientating behaviour control systems.

Asker: DO you think docile vould mean passive here. At the very least it would sound great "passively reproduced corporal self-injury behaviour patterns."
