Spanish term or phrase: maderae duras o blandas..
para la refinicion de jabones de licor negro de "maderae duras o blandas."

I have a copy that is tough to read but the word "maderae" doesn't appear to be any other word--maybe a typo. Does anyone recognize this word--it is clearly a latin root/word if it actally exists. Any ideas?

Thank you,

soft and hard woods

Explanation:
I agree with ybroad. It surely is a typo for maderas blandas y duras.
I suppose it refers to the essences that are used for making soap (like sandalwood, for instance)

Patricia

maderas

Explanation:
I agree with the other translators. It has to be a typo. The actual word is maderas (plural) as it is followed by the description of two types of wood: soft and hard.

Hard and soft wood

Explanation:
Madera is definitely the correct word, obviously in the plural form to adjust to the structure of the sentence.
"Maderas" duras o blandas.
