Irrigation Water Explanation: As suggested by a previous user, this is probably your best choice. IMHO, it is best to avoid prepositional constructions whenever possible (Ex. Corn Bread is better than Bread of Corn, Drinking Water is better than Water for Drinking, etc.). OTOH, depending, of course, on context and audience, it is quite often best to simplify: would something simpler like "Ditch Water" or "Non-potable Water" be more appropriate? (Long-winded answer, I know, but I hope it helps). |
