Clarification plate is a sort porous filtering media for (of course) clarification. Candle Filter is a type of filter (one trade mark is Valdo).Look up the URL below, ut is all there. See below Explanation: Leomar is probably right; however, I found the following in the Collazo's dictionary, which may shed some light into your subject. Seitz breakdown theory=teoria de Seitz sobre la disrupcion. Teoria segun la cual la disrupcion se produce cuando se alcanza una magnitud de avalancha critica que da lugar a la formacion de un camino conductor. placa clarificante=clarifier plate bujia de Berkerfield=didn't find it, but I found "bujia de Hefner" y la traducen como "Hefner candle" so you may be able to translate it as Berkerfield candle.
