Saludos :)

Explanation:
Hi,
first of all I think the cuerpo is just the body (the main part) without the fittings (to attach the bulb and the shade).
And yes, there is a standard that the lamps have to comply with and this is usually stated on the lamp. Here's an example. There may well be other standards for other countries.

Definition:
Leviton’s new European mogul lampholder provides the ultimate in quality and performance for HID lighting applications dedicated to the growing European market. Cat. No. 8783 series is 5 KV pulse-rated and features quick-connect tabs for easy wiring in a wide variety of fixtures. Made from the highest-quality porcelain, the lampholder provides a superior screw shell with lamp grips. It bears the ENEC Mark (European Norms Electrical Certification), which represents conformity to IEC standards and is accepted by the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
