wavelet Explanation: "Ondicula" is Latin and its literal translation is "wavelet". Wavelets are used in the mathematical analysis of seismic signals. Perhaps some mathematicians could describe it more technically. See the link below. not Latin Explanation: My first answer was partly in error; "ondicula" is not Latin, but Spanish. The Latin word would be "undicula". It's still a wavelet, however. Alvin |
