bloom shifter / shifting device Explanation: Hi Ana, Sorry this is so late, but I have been busy with a long translation (13,000+ words) about this very same subject. I hope the answer isn't too late. I could find very little information about what this is in Spanish, but based on some ideas from EuroDicAutom and from descriptions in the context of my own translation, I decided to call it a shifter or shifting device, as its purpose is apparently to help move these large pieces. Here is the EuroDicAutom entry, which, although for a railroad context, does seem to fit: TERM ripador Reference trad.esp.term.franc.definido en IM Ciel ouvert 44070(f.ripeur) Note {NTE} FICHE PREDIC Definition a machine(e.g.a tractor)used in shifting a railway track(or conveyor)laterally Reference e trans loc cit (1) TERM shifter Reference e trans loc cit;usbm (2) TERM track shifter Reference e trans loc cit;usbm Hope this isn't too late to help.
