I found the following phrase which might help you.
"Se amplian sus instalaciones con CINCO HORNOS mas, pero electricos y con los tratamientos galvanicos formados por una MAQUINA AUTOMATICA DE ZINCAR que se carga por bastidores, una MAQUINA AUTOMATICA DE FOSFATAR y dos BOMBOS ROTATIVOS DE ZINCAR."
So "zincar" is a form of "galvanizar", by plating with zinc, but it is not equivalent to galvanizar.
