Spanish term or phrase: CAIDA in this sentence (welding, electricity)
Cuando se pulsa el paro de emergencia ACTUAMOS SOBRE LA BOBINA DE DISPARO DEL INTERRUPTOR AUTOMÁTICO PRINCIPAL (Q1) PROVOCANDO SU CAÍDA Y DEJANDO POR TANTO LA MÁQUINA SIN TENSIÓN (lámpara de línea H1 apagada).

the bit in capitals confuses me because I can't be sure whether 'caida' refers to 'a fall in tension' or 'the activation of the switch' ...
Also 'tensión' = 'voltage'?

This particular device is a coil which drops (and yes, that's the technical word for it!), rather than trips.

"activate the trip coil on the primary automatic breaker (Q1), causing it to drop and disconnect power to the machine"
