Spanish term or phrase: MV, SV
These are the initials preceding the name of the boat, (EG, "MV Leilani Kai) I think they stand for "motorized vessel" and "sailing vessel," respectively; but do Spanish equivalents exist, or should they be left untranslated?

embarcación motorizada y embarcación de vela
Explanation:
I agree with Telef that you may leave MV and SV as they are but if I were doing the job I would include the Spanish meaning in brackets:
"MV (embarcación motorizada) y SV (embarcación de vela)"
just in case, you never know who's going to read and everyone will be pleased.
saludos a toda vela :)
