Spanish term or phrase: cadena logística integrada
Context is a form for evaluating an industrial company's employees' skills and know-how in different areas. In the area of Production and Logistics, "Cadena Logística Integrada" is listed, along with such skill / knowledge categories as process control, electronics, maintenance techniques, production planning and scheduling, etc. Can someone define "cadena logística integrada" for me? Can it be translated "integrated logistical chain"?

cadena logística integrada
Explanation:
logistics is a very common term in management and industrial operations. Basically, logistics is the managerial science of optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness at the least possible cost of the storage, distribution and transportation of materials and products. An integrated logistics chain means that the company has integrated in its own operations all the operations of material´s handling, storage, transportation and distribution, without the need of external logistic operators. There are many companies that subcontract or hire the logistics to specialized companies.

The term cadena logística integrada is quite common in business Spanish; there is even a multinational company dedicated to logistics called Logista.

I hope it helps.

Integrated Logistics Chain.

Explanation:
Logistics is the handling of details of an operation (It comes from military terminology)
Integrated means that all is done as one process.
And I think "chain" refers to a succession of events that must take place to accomplish the task/s.

you translated it as it is, but...

Explanation:
As an area of kowledge or a skill?

To describe someone as having knowledge or experience of 'integrated logistical chain'(sic) is definitely strange. I suggest you shuffle it around (you know the complete context) and make it more acceptable, e.g. by adding 'knowledge/experience of' to the beginning, and by making 'chain' plural or using 'sequences/sequencing' instead.

Integrated Logistical Chains
Integrated Logistical Sequencing
etc

In production or distribution, logistics is concerned with "the efficient ordering of events", generally speaking.
