Thanks for trying, Cid. In the end I had to omit it, client had no idea either. Interesting that the online DRAE gives a different etymology than the physical book (del. Ár. suqât, desecho, objeto sin valor)

On the other hand, I feel I have to respond to Robert here. I really don't understand what you are doing. I specified that my context was construction, yet you gave a link to a "tic-tac-toe frame" and a "tip-toe frame", which is a ceramic ballerina with a picture frame in her tummy. Could you not check your resources? I wasted quite some time visiting those links, only to discover they are totally useless. If you really want to help, please restrict yourself to subjects on which you have some expertise - I understand you know a lot about the oil industry, for example.
