Spanish term or phrase: volado radial de referencia
The text refers to irregularities in the above.
"Volado radial de referencia en al Eq 1 desde 15NM hasta vertical".
I would appreciate some help, as without any further context I don't know where to start...

English translation:Reference radial flight at al Eq 1 from 15NM up to vertical
Explanation:
The above is a suggestion.

Jo, I would suggest you to leave al Eq as is since this is technical jargon.

I also found al is autoland in Eng. (aterrizaje automático).
Eq. may be Equation, or Equal to.

But don't think these are the meanings. However, this is very specific and suppose the text is for people who know that subject.

As you say the context is very short to give us a better idea, but suppose you're translating flight simulation texts.

You can search in the following page: http://www.google.com/search?q=al Eq&meta=lr=&hl=es&btnG=Bs... Maybe you will find something more specific.
Hope to be useful!!

I was really grateful for this one. Thank you. I found a reference to flight in the text (which was very brief), and so I knew your answer was the correct one.
Thanks again,
Joanna

radial blasting of reference

Explanation:
It could be a solution if you refer to a mining context. "Volado" would be the same as "voladura"; that is, "blasting".

I hope it helps

This may have to do with oil drilling.

Explanation:
Nowadays an oild well can start vertically and then turn horizontally and progress for miles in a path parallel to the ground, but which could be miles under ground.

So I think the the following translation may be the one you need:
"The perfuration's reference radius in equation 1 is from 15 nautical miles until vertical."
