He aquí una explicación de lo que es la teoría de juegos

Explanation:
What is Game Theory?
Game Theory is the study of interactive decision making. Game theorists are interested in situations in which a decision maker's behavior affects not only his or her own gains and losses, but also those of other decision makers. In order to analyze such interactive situations, game theorists use game theoretical concepts and mathematical tools to create highly simplified descriptions of real-life situations which are called "models". Because models are highly simplified accounts of reality, they are relatively easy to analyze. In fact, many game theoretic models resemble common parlor games like chess, bridge, poker, or monopoly. This relationship not only explains where Game Theory got its name from but also why many game theorists like to play those games.
