bus (Chile)

Explanation:
Hi,

In Chile, "micro" (short for "microbus") is a means of public transportation (like a city bus). It is a femenine word ("la micro"), as opposed to Argentina where it is masculine ("el microbus"). Intercity/suburban buses, on the other hand, are called "buses" and not "micros".

Pls see my reply re "pisadera" if it is related to this query.

Regards,

Maria-Jose
