Explanation:
The Mohs hardness scale consists of 10 minerals, against which the hardness of all other minerals is measured.

The softest (designated as "1") is talc, and the hardest (designated as "10") is diamond. In increasing order of hardness (that is, from rating "2" up through rating "9"), the others are: gypsum, calcite, fluorite, apatite, orthoclase, quartz, topaz, and corundum.

Whatever you do, please spell "Mohs" properly!
