EN norms set by the Committee for European Norms (CEN) Explanation: EN = European Norm CEN = Committee for European Norms (also CEN in English) as in: http://www.pipesgroup.co.uk/press3.htm http://www.ivv.fhg.de/gf6/gf6_e.html http://www.izocam.com.tr/english/services/measurement.html I´ve also found CEN as:European Committee for Standardization in http://www.inst-informatica.pt/v20/ibst/organiza/cen.htm but I´d use the first option Godd luck!! :) |

Commission européenne de normalisation Explanation: Leave this in French. This is its one and only name! Here here an excerpt from an "Abbreviations 1. Worldwide organizations" Website: "EUTELSAT European Telecommunication Satellite Organization CEN Commission européenne de normalisation CENELEC Commission européenne de normalisation des électrotechniques NATO North Atlantic Treaty Organization ARFA Allied Radio Frequency Agency " All the Websites I found listed, doing both an "English-only" Google search and one for all languages, gave only the French as an expansion of "CEN," so there really doesn't appear to be any other name for the organization. I've inserted the Google search results URL, below. Note the correct spelling... English only: www.google.com/search?as_q=&num=10&btnG=Google+Search&as_oq=&as_epq=Commission+Europ%E9enne+de+Nor All languages: www.google.com/search?q=%22Commission+Europ%E9enne+de+Normalisation%22 |
