Here's my suggestion: "In view of the geometric characteristics of the piles, the use of a cantilevered self-raising arch-center has been proposed." -- "Cimbra" means "arch-center" (an English noun; "the falsework used to support masonry during construction of an arch"). -- Further noteworthy distinction: Falsework supports structural elements, whereas scaffolding supports workers. -- Best, HC
