calaix=cajon, detectiu = detective, campanya=campaña, taca=mancha Explanation: this is NOT the English translation that you are ultimately looking for and I hesitate to give you something which does not make sense to me (like drawer room for camaras de cajon). All I am offering you here is Catalan to Castellano translations of the crucial words, picked from my memory of times long gone by in Barcelona. Hope this puts you "en camino". |

cámaras de caja o de detección / cámaras de campaña/ cámaras por placa Explanation: es lo que creo, Ailish Ahora a ver cómo lo traducimos... Debe referirse a sistemas de alarma,¿verdad? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 01:58:57 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Perdona que puse \"cámaras POR placa\" donde debiera ser \"cámaras DE placa\" ( o \"en placa\") 1) cámaras de caja o de detección: encontré ésto: \" ...mediante CAJA DE ALARMA .....DETECCIÓN de actividad...\" 2) cámaras de campaña 3) cámaras DE placa: encontré : -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:05:09 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- !) cámaras de caja o detección = box cameras or detection cameras -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:09:42 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 3) cámaras de placa = plate cameras -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:11:52 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- > http://phsne.org/stereocameras/Plate/plate-2.htm -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:19:41 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 2)cámaras de CAMPANA (no \"campaña\" ) = bell cameras > http://www.ibvr.com/ Espero haberte ayudado y que conste que casi no sé catalán, pero sí algo de francés. Un saludo y Feliz Año 2003 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:29:54 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- NOTA: Ailish, creo que lo de \"bell cameras\" está mal... Voy a comprobarlo y a seguir investigando con \"campaña\"... (es lo más difícil) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 02:55:39 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- More about \"Plate Cameras\": \"... the *Plate * recognition system is designed for automatic *detection* of multiple car *plates* in real *camera* scene\" \"Safetech Alarm Systems - Commercial Alarms : ...precise *detection* of *plate* .....closed circuit television *cameras*...\" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 03:18:35 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 2) \"cámaras de campaña\"... :aquí tengo menos seguridad, pero te voy a dar dos posibles opciones: \"field cameras\" \"travel cameras\" >http://www.alude.com/cameras/Tripods/Tabletop_and_Travel/ cat499308p1.htm pone: \"...these cameras are classified as *field cameras* , that is to say they will fold into a more compact box shape for traveling\" \"...all over the country from one central location, graphic display of all alarm points; systems automatically targets *cameras* to *alarm* zones...\" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-01-08 03:35:40 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- NOTA: Rectifico otro error: !) cámaras de caja/cajón o \"tipo detective\" (antiguas) > http://www.masdebuceo.com/articulo.cfm?idArticulo=1026 \"...cámara automática tipo \"Lumiere\" con posibilidad de contener 12 placas (1890), conocida también como *\"detective\"* en Francia e Inglaterra....su primera *caja* estanca contenía una *cámara* *tipo detective*...\" Perdona que te vaya poniendo lo que averiguo, pero creo que ya estamos más cerca... Ahora creo que se trata de cámaras antiguas. Reference: http://www.simicro.com/pagina_nueva_12.htm |
