orifices, tapping flues and core
Explanation:
boquilla in any other context is "mouthpiece", but here it is evidently the opening through which the molten metal (colada) is poured. The liquid branches out through the flues (ramales, which are usually structured like the branches of a tree with no gravitational obstacles). The core (in metal casting) is the centre usually made of clay compounds, to guarantee that the piece remains hollow (solid pieces contain much more tensions and have more likelihood of breaking).
