Spanish term or phrase: para que lo obligue por.....

Se otorgan distintos poderes en relación a bienes inmuebles y muebles. Al final dice:

"Para que de y tome posesión. Para que lo obligue por la evicción y saneamiento con arreglo a derecho."

Mi duda es a qué o quién se refiere con "lo" - la entrega de posesión de un inmueble? Obviamente también agradezco propuestas de traducción.
